Oct 25, 2005 - November marks beginning of "The Pete Petraska Farewell Tour" November marks the beginning of our "Pete Petraska Farewell Tour", so please come out and show your support for one of the areas best Bass Players. Pete, the only original member and co-founder of the QT concept back in late 2001, had a definite vision with his compadres of introducing a quality cover band act entirely comprised of talented professional players committed to music perfection and ready to deliver a great sounding show. Pete "Mr. School" Petraska, a tight, extremely versatile, polished, and experienced player, has been a key element in the group, and we will dearly miss his professionalism, PhD in gearheadology, funky grooves, and shinny shinny head, which was crucial in the photonic dispersion at the prismatic center of our memorable light shows :)
Pete will complete his QT tour of duty this month with his next performance at the Columbia Ale House on Nov 5th, and his last performance on Nov 25th at the Olde Town Tavern. So come out this month and join us in bidding Pete a huge farewell as he Bass Slaps his way into future endeavors.
Pete's replacement Rick Linares is currently in the QT musical incubator undergoing his QT-metamorphosis, come check him out on Nov 26 at Calypso Bay. -Quartertil - Marty, Cesar, Bob, and Mike
Oct 24, 2005 - Replacement Bass Player Selected QT is pleased to announce we have selected a groovy Bass Player from down yonder, Rick Linares is the name, and there is a new sheriff in town! QT is pleased to welcome Rick into the lineup as QT's new Bass Player! Long challenging process auditioning players for a band, but finally it's over, thank the gods in the music heavens. Make sure to come out and see Rick do his Bass playing thing on November 26 at Calypso Bay in Tracy's Landing. Peace. -Cesar
Oct 17, 2005 - Replacement Bass Player Update
Patience is a dish best
served cold....no wait that's revenge. Anyway, please be
patient as we scour the lands for a replacement bass player.
The search seems to be winding down, couple more weeks of
auditioning yet, but some really talented players are coming out of
the woodworks. We will be back strong at the Columbia Ale
House on Nov. 5th. Make sure to come out to the Olde Towne
Tavern on Nov. 25th as we will bid farewell to Pete Petraska' our
current bass player and Co-Founder of QuarterTil (apparently band
naming was never a strong point) as this will be his final show.
Replacing members is never easy especially ones with the sex appeal
Pete has. Hope to see you all at the Shows!!
-Marty

White Marsh, one of the best if not the best local area band! -Cesar
July 5, 2005 - July marks beginning of "The Brian Wagner Farewell Tour" This month marks the beginning of our "Brian Wagner Farewell Tour", so please come out and show your support for one of the areas best drummers. Brian, who joined QT at it's pre-gigging inception in late 2002, brought a remarkably tight, precise, and extremely diverse drumming style and capability to the group. The "machine" as we often call him, Brian has been a major contributor in the first phase of QT's professional evolution, and we will greatly miss his beats, along with his ability to stay in the pocket, and even rescue us from ourselves, by bringing us back into the pocket when our excitement had us astray :)
Brian will complete his QT tour of duty this month with his next performance at the House of Rock where we will open for Stiff Richard, and his last performance on July 30th at the Columbia Ale House. So come out this month and join us in bidding Brian a huge farewell as he drums his way into future endeavors.
Brian's replacement will be named in a future posting as he is currently in the QT musical incubator as we await his QT-metamorphosis. -Quartertil - Marty, Cesar, Bob, and Pete

I want to personally thank every lovely lady that allowed me to take their picture to post on our web site, please take the time to to check your lovely selves out in the photo gallery. Nice to see and work with Bryon and Barbara again, it's been a while! Outstanding job on the board Bryon! Outstanding woman behind the mastermind Barbara :) We all know where the wizard gets his ideas or inspiration :)

Mar 20, 2005 - The Brass Rail Finally, the music gods in the heavens lifted our curse from the Brass Rail, anything and everything under the sun plagued us from our very first visit to the Rail, from cough syrup overdoses, guitar tuning issues, to effects processor problems, and electrical sabotage, Murphy's law at its worst.
Last night, we kicked Mr. Murphy right in his ASS with plentiful force, we will not see the likes of him at the Rail! Big thanks to all our friends for coming out to see the show, they include all of Brian's friends and family, Randy from Stiff Richard and his lovely girlfriend, my mad scientist friend, Mr. Fritz Hemmer (thanks for taking all the pictures), Mary & Lisa Lisa, and anyone else I did not mention.
We understand that when you
come out to see us, we basically ROCK the sense out of you, and please
